We often think or are made to believe we have enemies. In reality, most of us don’t. There are many words like competitor, opponent, we misconstrue as enemy. Our neighbour may not be in talking terms with us, not greet us in the morning, yet, not our enemy. On a good day, they may not allow rain beat our child without offering an umbrella. They Wouldn’t see us in distress of armed robbery for example without intervening or calling the police. Our colleague in the office pushing to take over our position is a fair competition, not an enemy. Someone in same business as ours who is taking a few of our customers away is a fair game. They may not see us in a deadly health challenge without visiting or offering assistance or a word of prayer.
An enemy is the one with whom you are at war; fight to finish, destroy each other and celebrate his downfall or death.
Unfortunately, most times we may be holding someone as an enemy who has no thought of us at all.
Two people could be in a situation, but only one of them is the enemy amongst them; the one with a feeling of guilt of wrong doing of the other, who feels that a reasonable revenge is justifiable. Oftentimes, we are actually the enemy, not the other way around.
So, when next we think of someone as our enemy, let's reflect if they are really the enemy and whether they have any thoughts of us at all.

I want to align my thoughts with the foregoing: An enemy is the one with whom you are at war; fight to finish, destroy each other and celebrate his downfall or death.
